Yael, the Australian living in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has graduated from NIDA. Yael enjoyed the privilege to be able to collaborate with Australia's leading storytellers. Her experience includes behind-the-scenes work on film, television and the theatre. Yael has a successful career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's journey to New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery. Based at Bushwick, Brooklyn, the business supports the development of new writing as well as innovative, creative exploits.
